**AEP - Most know about AEP, it starts Oct 15th, with every carrier releasing new plans Oct 1st. At that time it is in your best interest to have an appointment with your advisor to make sure your plan is not changing and what the following year will look like for your plan. Then at that time if you need to change plans you can start Oct 15th. If you change your plan during AEP, the new plan will go into effect Jan 1st of the following year.
**SEP includes events such as moving, if you are changing zip codes you need to change your plan. There are other events as well, just reach out to your advisor to have that conversation.
